Studio One 4.5 Review (From a Cubase User) I've been a Cubase user for years, and I love the software. And the general workflow for orchestral writing (for me) is better than Logic. I spend most of my time between Logic X and Cubase 10.5 but I'm loving the expression maps in Cubase. I have Studio One Professional, Logic and Cubase.and DP.and Ableton.you get the point. For me, version 3 marked the moment when Studio One caught up with the competition. With the fundamentals covered in previous versions, Studio One 4 branches out to explore new creative possibilities. I played a Studio One mixed file over my phone compared to a mix in DP to my associate at GC, his ears perked and commented how much more clarity there was in the DP mix. It's not they are bad, its just the sound mixed, bounced out of Logic and DP is better. He had the same analysis of Cubase 8.5 mix and Studio One mix.
